When I received the call from Susan, Ellie’s mum, to ask if I was free to flower her daughters wedding, an Autumn wedding, at Yeldersley Hall, I was crossing my fingers and toes that they would choose me as their florist! You see Autumn weddings are just so special. The light is usually really special. The colours are just a sexy, and candles. There’s usually lots of candles. So really, what’s not to love?
I’m so excited to head into 2019. I think it’s going to be a really exciting year and we have some stunning events to work on, and new locations to visit and dress. We also have the National Finals of The Wedding Industry Awards to attend in January, so fingers ( and toes and eyes) crossed for a positive result there!

I have just returned from a truly inspirational few days in Herefordshire, with Sabine Darrall on her Evergreen workshop, a short course dedicated to understanding more about foam free design. What on earth is that I hear you cry??? Well for those non florists, foam free means without the use of that green Oasis foam that is often used (by us too) in creating floral arrangements.
Nope, this is not a photoshoot, and nope Michelle is not a model, but you’d be excused for thinking both. Michelle is actually one half of an absolutely gorgeous couple (Mark being her fabulous husband) who had a dream of a day, with their Shiningford wedding.
I’m a BIG believer in flexing creativity once in a while. It’s great to work through wedding concepts with my couples and help bring their visions to life. But I truly believe, in able for me to stay fresh, on trend and hungry for new design, I have to indulge in creativity for creatives sake sometimes.
I’m guessing if you’ve landed here on our wedding flowers page you’re planning a pretty special day in the not to distant future? That’s so exciting and I’m pretty sure we’ll be a giddy as you when it comes to planning flowers for your big day – yay!

We’d like to think we’re pretty flexible in our design style and open to your ideas (saying that we do love creating a HUGE bouquet if you’ll let us!) but what I know for a fact is that we love to use really beautiful flowers in our work and do our very best to get our hands on the most gorgeous products we can for every couple we work with.

You may have seen some of these beautiful images already, as we’ve been getting some wonderful coverage on social media, and I’m not really surprised! If you’ve never been to the Bluebell Woods at Yoxall (I hadn’t until this shoot) you won’t believe your eyes. It really is something quite spectacular. There is literally a carpet of bluebells are far as the eye can see in pretty much every direction.
