Have you been to Yeldersley Hall?
Yeldersley Hall is a charming family home, sitting just off the beaten track in rural Derbyshire. It has so many wonderful features that make it a wonderful venue for intimate, classic weddings.
With exclusive use and on site accommodation, it’s a really special, relaxed weekend wedding site that everyone can enjoy. We’ve dressed Yeldersley on many occasions for some of our favourite couples and it’s always a treat to return. I was thrilled to be asked back to help flower their latest offer, ready to showcase to their future couples.
As the objective of the day was to introduce the newest area of Yeldersley Hall, the stables, to the public, we wanted to trigger the imagination as to how it could add an extra element to the day. Our Moon prop creates the perfect portrait opportunity against that exposed brick work don’t you think?
Intimate dining space? Champagne or gin bar?
Making new friends…
The day was curated and styled by Tara from Tickety Boo Events. She was excited take sure this newly revived asset was shown off to its very best. With help from the very beautiful Cathy, who acted as our lovely bride, Laura who styled her hair, Clare who created the big day make up we were almost ready to go. Then add a couple of just stunning gowns from The Wedding House, and of course a selection of the most stunning flowers the season had to offer we were ready to go!
Can we just take a moment to sigh over those late season peonies and stunning garden roses. I mean c’mon now…
And working with old friends too
Dani from Love In My Life, who I’ve had the greatest pleasure to get to know and work with a few times this year, (you can see those collabs here and here) was also there adding the little bit extra ‘je ne sais qua’ that only she can.
