All about the details
I met Jane and Tommy at the Save the Date wedding event in Derby when they were in the initial planning stages of their Buxton based wedding, and I was thrilled when Jane confirmed I’d be their florist for the day! Jane was bursting with ideas and was keen to show me all her collections of curiosities that she wanted to incorporate into their big day.

The couples eclectic style was wonderfully represented by their choice of venues, The Old Hotel in Buxton, with the marriage ceremony held under the beautiful Victorian bandstand. It was a wonderfully sunny day which was so perfect for this outdoor ceremony. Just look at the sun flare on these super pretty pictures by Natalie J Weddings! Juliet Juliet where fore art thou
Jane showed me a selection of inspiration images that all featured the stunning peachy rose called Juliet, so that was the obvious starting point for her bouquet. We popped lots of candy coloured blooms into the bouquet in the form of peonies, hydrangeas and other rose varieties. Jane’s best gals carried fluffy white hydrangea heads that looked so clean and neat against the lovely minty green dresses. Jane really loves all sorts of music but was keen to have teacups as a nod towards the lovely Lady Gaga so we popped a few beautiful blooms in these too. I really enjoyed this wedding and Jane and I are still in touch to this day!
