Red dress? Oh yes!
I love a bride with a distinctive sense of style and I knew as soon as I received the emails from Charley saying she had purchased a red dress and wanted a show stopper bouquet for her day that I HAD no choice but to work with her and bring her vision to life. Along with the very dashing Bobs this stylish couple went on to curate a very beautiful and personal mid winter wedding at the stunning West Mill venue right here in Derbyshire.
What should I have?
While Charley, knew she wanted a wow bouquet, she wasn’t quite sure how she wanted it to look. I had an inkling that I could read her style (even via email) and I made a few suggestions on colour, shape, bloom variety and scale. Foruntatly my gut was correct and Charley was totally thrilled with what I created for her and her best gals. With a little one as part of the bridal party we just knew we had to create a dainty fresh foliage and berry circlet to frame that sweet little face, and she even had her very own mini freeform bouquet to carry too! Such a stylish bridal party don’t you think? Each of the grooms men sported a mix n match variation buttonhole, all containing elements from the brides bouquet, but all a little different and individual.
Greenery all around
When it was time for the wedding breakfast to be served the guests were seated at long trestle style tables which we’d filled with a mix of greens, and following through with the finishing touches Charley had even hired black crockery and gold cutlery. acetyl with individual favours of rosemary tied off with gold ribbon, and each table had black dinner candles in slim gold holders. It really did look fab.
The whole day was captured by the beautiful inside and out Emma Case Photography.
