A collaborative shoot at The West Mill
Back in February 2016 some of my favourite wedding pros added their time and expertise to create this stunning selection of inspiration images at The West Mill, in Derbyshire. The Mill is a venue unlike any other, and we were keen to style this venue in a way that really showed off its style and atmosphere, in a shoot a that was just a little bit more Rock ‘n’ Roll. It was a full day shoot, and boy were we tired when we blew out the final candle but we were also thrilled with the outcome.
The day started focused on the beautiful girls who wore the most stunning, skin skimming Belle and Bunty gowns, teamed with decadent Rachel Simpson shoes and head pieces by our own brand Florrie and Eve.They were groomed to perfection by Kiki, Hollie and Jenni! We moved on to capture some finishing touches to a perfectly planned day, such as florals, cakes and stationary. Then as the night drew in we moved onto a more edgy style, really pushing towards the prohibition vibe we were keen to capture – will you just look at that tower of champagne glasses over flowing!
A massive thank you to all those who contributed time and effort into this shoot, and a special big love to Ben (HBA) who didn’t stop shooting for the whole 12 hours!
